Imaging of the Back: Is it Worth it?

In this interactive lecture the pros and cons of the application of different imaging modalities available for the equine back will be highlighted including a cost-benefit analysis. The correct choice of imaging modality for different case scenarios will be discussed. A systematic approach to image analysis and interpretation of imaging findings will be described in the light of the scientific evidence currently available.
