Indications for use

In mammals, Levaverm 10% is indicated for the control of lung parasites (Dictyocaulus spp., Metastrongylus spp. and Protostrongylus spp.) and gastrointestinal nematodes (Haemonchus spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Ostertagia spp., Cooperia spp., Bunostomum spp., Nematodirus
spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Strongyloides spp., Chabertia spp., Toxocara vitellorum, Hyostrongylus spp., Trichuris spp. and Ascaris spp.).
In birds, Levaverm 10% is indicated for the control of infections caused by the larval and adult stages of Amidostomum anserus, Ascaridia spp., Heterakis gallinarium, Capillaria spp. and Syngamus trachea.

  Administer orally.
  Cattle, sheep, pigs: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight or 1 liter per 1000 liters of drinking water, administered once.
  Poultry: 1 – 1.5 liters per 1000 liters of drinking water, administered once.

  Levaverm 10% can also be administered to pregnant animals.

  Contraindications

  The use of levamisole should be avoided in animals with severe liver or kidney disease and in animals with pre-existing blood disorders.
