Liquid Carbodote, 100ml

Activated charcoal has a high non-specific adsorbent capacity (poisonous substances,
toxins, gases, medicines, etc.). Following oral administration, it is not absorbed through the
digestive tract. It coats the intestinal wall and adsorbs potentially toxic substances,
thereby limiting their entry into the bloodstream.

Composition

Vegetable charcoal (24%), glycerine.

Directions for use

For oral use.
Shake the bottle before use.
• As a supportive measure following the ingestion of an undesirable substance: Administer orally at a dose of 2
to 5 ml/kg, depending on the amount of the undesirable substance ingested. If
necessary, the dose may be repeated every 4 to 6 hours for 24 hours. In the event of
ingestion of a large quantity of undesirable substances, CARBODOTE® may
be administered up to 20 ml/kg.
• Flatulence: Administer orally at a dose of 0.5 ml/kg, morning and evening until symptoms resolve.

Crude protein 0.04%; crude oils and fats 0.1%; crude fibre 11.7%; crude ash 0.8%,
moisture 59.3%; sodium 0.01%.

Pharmaceutical advice

Allow approximately 3 hours to elapse between administering the product and meals and/or
oral treatments. The product causes the faeces to turn black and stains
fabrics.
