Managing Chronic Joint Disease

Chronic joint disease is commonly encountered in equine practice and across the disciplines of horse sport. This talk will address the potential management techniques that have been employed and where possible report the evidence for their use. Increasingly an holistic approach is being recognised as being the most appropriate for long term management of chronic joint disease and pragmatic approaches to these complex problems will be discussed.
