Pain Management - Can We Do Better? (NYV 2024)

During this lecture we will review the pain pathway and discuss the site of action of the most commonly used analgesics. We will review the use of the different opioids, alpha-2 agonists, dissociatives, and local anesthetics to better care for our patients.

• Be able to choose an appropriate analgesic protocol for your anesthesia patient.
