Rx Prascend for PPID/Cushing's in Horses
Prescribed for the control of PPID (Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction) also known as equine Cushing's disease. Prascend is a dopamine receptor agonist. For horses only.

Dosage & Administration:
Prascend (pergolide tablets) is available with a prescription by a veterinarian, but can be or is administered by a horse owner. Administer orally at a starting dose of 2 mcg/kg once daily. Dosage may be adjusted to effect, not to exceed 4 mcg/kg daily.
Prascend tablets should not be crushed due to the potential for increased human exposure, and care should be taken to minimize exposure when splitting tablets.
Storage:
Store at or below 25° C (or 77° F).
